Step-by-Step Instructions

How to set up German 4K in a few minutes.

1. Search for Downloader in the Play Store

Search for "Downloader" in the Google Play Store on your Google TV device.

2. Install Downloader

Select the Downloader app from the list and install it.

3. Open Security & Restrictions

Go to Settings → System → Security & Restrictions (on Google TV also under "Apps").

4. Access "Unknown Apps"

Open the item "Install apps from unknown sources".

5. Enable Downloader

Set the switch for Downloader to "On" so that it is allowed to install apps.

6. Open Downloader & enter code

Start the Downloader app, enter the code 8781950 (German4K Ultra) and confirm with "Go". For the classic German4K Pro: 3781465.

7. Download & install

Confirm the installation with "Install" and open the app.

8. Log in once – or not at all

If your device is already paired with us, German4K Ultra sets itself up automatically on the first start. Otherwise: "Log in now" and type in the username + password from your order, scan the QR code with your phone – or send us a photo of the home screen. After that, Live TV, movies, series and program guide are there.

• 4K runs most stably via LAN cable instead of WLAN.
