ℹ️ Older Fire TV Stick (Fire OS 5 or 6)?
Older sticks, such as those from 2014 to 2018 or the Basic Edition, use German4K Pro with the Downloader code 3781465. German4K Ultra requires Fire OS 7 and reports "Error parsing package" when installing on old devices. Pro runs reliably there, for free and with the same access. You can see your version under Settings → My Fire TV → About.

Step-by-Step Instructions
How to set up German 4K in just a few minutes.
1. Open Search
On the Fire TV home screen, select the magnifying glass (Search) at the top left.
2. Search & Install "Downloader"
Enter "Downloader", select the orange app and install it.
3. Open Settings → My Fire TV
Go back to the home screen and open Settings (gear icon) at the top right → "My Fire TV".
4. Enable Developer Options
Open "About" and click on "Fire TV Stick" 7 times in a row until the message appears that developer options are unlocked.
5. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources
Go to Apps → Security and allow "Apps from Unknown Sources" for the Downloader.
6. Open Downloader
Start the Downloader app and select the URL input field.
7. Enter Code
Enter the code 8781950 in the Downloader and confirm with "Go" – German4K Ultra downloads and installs itself. (For the classic German4K Pro, the code is 3781465.)
8. Download & Install
Confirm the installation with "Install" and open the app.
9. Log in Once – or Not at All
If your device is already linked with us, German4K Ultra sets itself up automatically on the first start. Otherwise: "Login now" and type in the username + password from your order, scan the QR code with your mobile – or send us a photo of the home screen. After that, Live TV, movies, series and program guide are there.
Tips for Best 4K
- Use a 5 GHz Wi-Fi or an Ethernet adapter for absolutely stable 4K.
- A quick restart of the stick before installation prevents update problems.
