Setting up IPTV on Samsung Smart TV – Step-by-Step

The beauty of a Samsung Smart TV: You don't need an extra box, no stick, and no cable clutter. IPTV runs directly via an App that you install from the Samsung Apps Store. In this Anleitung, we show you how to set up German 4K on your Tizen TV in just a few minutes.
What you need
- A Samsung Smart TV with Tizen (recommended from year 2018 onwards)
- A stable internet connection (min. 25 Mbit/s for 4K)
- Your German 4K access data – you will receive these via WhatsApp
Recommended App: CR Player
For Samsung TVs, we recommend the CR Player. It runs stably and smoothly in real 4K, and we handle the actual setup for you – you don't type in any access data. The App is free for 7 days, after which it costs 10 € per year. The license comes from the app manufacturer.
Step by Step: Setting up CR Player
Open the Samsung Apps Store via the Home button on your remote control and search for "CR Player". Install the app and start it. On the start screen, you will see a MAC address and a Device Key. Take a photo of it and send it to us via WhatsApp or Telegram – we will upload your list directly. After restarting the app, all channels, movies, and series will appear – done.

Alternative: IBO Player Pro
If you cannot find the CR Player in your Samsung Apps Store – which happens with older models – use the IBO Player Pro. Here, too, the app shows the MAC address and Device Key at startup; send us a photo of it, and we will store your playlist. We no longer recommend Smarters on Samsung: the login often fails there with "Authorization Failed".
Does this also work on other Smart TVs?
On LG (webOS), use the IBO Player Pro from the LG Content Store – the CR Player is no longer available there. Hisense TVs with VIDAA can find CR Player or IBO Player Pro in the VIDAA Store. Newer Philips TVs with Titan OS do not have an open store – send us a photo of the App store there, and we will tell you which method works for your model.
Tips for the best 4K
If possible, connect your TV via a LAN cable or use 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Older Tizen models before 2018 do not support every App – when in doubt, our Support will be happy to help you and find the right solution for your model.
