Replay, Catch-up, and Recording on IPTV Explained

Missed television? With IPTV, that is often not a problem. Three terms are frequently confused in this context.
Replay / Catch-up
The provider keeps broadcast programs available for a few days. You select a past program in the program guide and start it. The playback duration depends on the package and the channel. With our Pro Package, seven days of Replay are planned; we confirm the status per channel upon request.
Recording
The app saves a program locally on your device. This requires storage space and an app that offers this function; in TiviMate, it is part of the paid version.
Timeshift
Time-shifted television: You pause the current program and rewind without having recorded it beforehand.
How to Use It
- Open the program guide (see Set up EPG program guide).
- Select a past program – a small icon shows if Replay is available.
- Start playback.
