Check IPTV Movies & Series: Is your desired title available in German?

Most providers advertise with huge numbers: tens of thousands of movies, thousands of series. But none of these numbers answer the question you actually have – namely, whether exactly that one title you're looking forward to is included. And whether it runs in German or only in the original language. This guide shows you why this question is surprisingly hard to answer, how you can clarify it yourself in a few seconds at German 4K, and what happens if a title is actually missing.
Why “50,000 Movies” says nothing about your movie
A media library is not a shelf where everything stands neatly side by side. The same title often appears multiple times – once in Full HD, once in 4K, plus versions in other languages. Some entries carry the German title, others the original title. Therefore, anyone simply searching for a name finds either too much or nothing.
Then there's the language question. A film can be present and still not be what you are looking for: if it only runs in the original audio, it helps you little if you wanted to watch it in German. This is exactly where an honest check comes in – it doesn't answer “does the title exist,” but “does it exist in the way I need it.”
How to check your desired title in under a minute
To ensure the check is unambiguous, we do not work with names, but with a unique identifier: the entry in the free film database TheMovieDB. The path there is short:
1. Search for the title in the film database
Open themoviedb.org and search for your movie or series. The site is available in German, so you can also find titles under the name you know.
2. Copy the address from the browser
Click on the hit and copy the address from the address bar. It looks something like this: themoviedb.org/movie/12345 or themoviedb.org/tv/12345 – that's all you need.
3. Paste the link on the check page
Paste the address into the Content Check and submit it. The answer comes in a few seconds – and it is more concrete than you would expect from a search function.

What the check really tells you
A simple “yes, available” would be of little value. That's why for the best versions, we don't just look up what's in the catalog, but briefly read out the file itself. This takes a few seconds and provides values that you otherwise wouldn't see:
- The real resolution – measured, not guessed from the file name. Whether it's actually 4K or Full HD is thus determined.
- All available audio tracks – you see if a German audio track is included and what other languages are available.
- Multiple versions – if the same title exists in 4K and Full HD, both are displayed.
- For series: which seasons are actually available – and which are still missing.
Why this effort? Because a file name can lie. An entry with “4K” in the name is far from being 4K. What is measured becomes a reliable statement – the same principle we apply to the topic of real 4K versus upscaled HD.
German audio track, original audio, multi-audio – what does that mean?
In the results list, next to the resolution, it says which audio tracks the version brings. You will encounter three cases most frequently:
- German: The version contains a German audio track – you start the movie and hear German.
- Multi-Audio (German + English): Both languages are in the same file. You change the audio track directly in the player without having to search for another entry.
- Original audio only: The title exists, but without a German audio track. For us, this counts as “not available in German” – and thus moves to the wish list.
Multi-audio is particularly practical when different preferences meet in the household: one file, two languages, switching at the touch of a button in the App.
Series: Why the season makes the difference
For series, the answer “it's there” is not enough. It regularly happens that the first seasons are available, but the newest one is not yet – freshly aired seasons take their time until they are available in a German version.
The Content Check therefore compares season by season: it checks which seasons are actually available and balances that with the number that should exist according to the film database. The result is a clear statement like “Seasons 1 to 3 available, Season 4 still missing” – instead of a checkmark that disappoints you later. If a season is missing, exactly that season is noted, not the whole series.
And if your title is missing?
Then the check isn't over; it starts working. Every missing title is noted and passed on to our content provider. The more often a title is requested, the further forward it moves – requests from active customers first.
If you like, you can leave your email address. It will not be used for anything else than to send you a single message: as soon as the title is available. No newsletter, no disclosure. If you leave the field empty, the request will still be recorded – you just won't be automatically notified.
To be honest: Not every wish can be fulfilled, and some things take time. But every reported title ends up in the right place instead of getting lost in a chat.
Check before you buy – not after
The practical benefit lies before the decision. You don't have to book first to find out if your favorite series is complete. Check the three or four titles that are really important to you and decide afterwards. And if you are unsure anyway: The free 24-hour test shows you the same catalog on your own TV.

Conclusion: Asking costs nothing – guessing does
Large catalog numbers impress but never answer your specific question. With a unique link, a measured resolution, and an honest look at the audio tracks, you know where you stand in under a minute – even down to the season for series. And what is missing doesn't disappear into thin air but goes as a request to our provider. This is exactly how we envision a service that doesn't leave you in the dark.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find out if a specific movie is available on IPTV?
Search for the title on themoviedb.org, copy the address from the browser and paste it into our “Check Movie & Series” page. You will get an answer within a few seconds – including measured resolution and the available audio tracks.
What does Multi-Audio mean in IPTV?
Multi-audio means that a file contains multiple audio tracks, for example, German and English. You change the language directly in the player without having to search for another entry.
How do I know if a movie is really in 4K?
During the content check, the file itself is read out instead of just reading the file name. The displayed resolution is thus measured – an entry with “4K” in the name that is actually Full HD will be noticed.
What happens if a season of my series is missing?
The check compares the existing seasons with those that should exist according to the film database. If one is missing, exactly that season is recorded as a wish and passed on to our content provider – not the whole series.
Will I be notified when my requested title is available?
If you voluntarily leave your email address during the check, you will receive exactly one message as soon as the title is available. The address will not be used for anything else and will not be passed on.
Can I check content even without access?
Yes, the check is open to you before you decide. This way you can see beforehand if the titles that are important to you are included – and you can additionally test for 24 hours free of charge.
